The platform was developed by OGE and is aimed at distribution system operators and customers who produce or consume hydrogen. Data protection is guaranteed, as OGE cannot view data relating to individual sites or companies. The main HyCo Connect functions include the registration and management of network areas and sites, a dashboard for displaying and exporting data and the provision of data on H2 production and demand for the distribution system operator.
The onboarding process for distribution system operators wishing to use the platform involves signing a user agreement and registering. The platform can then be used and integrated on the distribution system operator's website. This makes HyCo Connect a simple solution for efficiently managing and visualising hydrogen demand in the distribution grid.
